Old Mutual Life Plan

The Old Mutual Life Plan provides a cash benefit to dependents on the death of the policyholder. The size of the benefit is sufficient to ensure that your dependents are financially secure after your death. The Life Plan also has features that will give you value and flexibility while you are alive.

Features

The Old Mutual Life Plan offers the following features:

  • You are allowed to skip up to six monthly premiums before your policy lapses provided you have paid the first six.
  • Maximum benefit of $75 000.
  • No medical tests.
  • No waiting period for accidental death.
  • Staggered benefits for non-accidental death.
  • Simple registration process.
  • Policies can be ceded.
  • Premiums are payable up to the age of 65 years but life cover continues for your whole life.

There are variations of the Life Plan, each designed to accommodate your financial needs. These are:

Life Plan with cash-back

  • In addition to your life cover, you receive 50% of premiums paid in any five year period at the end of the period, if your policy is still active.
  • You are allowed to skip up to six monthly premiums before your policy lapses provided you have paid the first six.
  • You can choose to pay premiums monthly or annually.

Life Plan without cash-back

  • You are allowed to skip up to six monthly premiums before your policy lapses provided you have paid the first six.
  • You can choose to pay premiums monthly or annually.
