Old Mutual Amazing Voices – vote for your winning group
Start voting for your winning group from Sunday 27 June until Thursday 1 July.
What to do:
1. Register to vote on www.africamagic.tv/amazingvoices
2. Click on the “Vote” menu item
3. Then click on “Register” (and enter your name, surname, cellphone number in the international format e.g. +27 1234567, email address, location, year of birth, gender and your preferred password)
4. Accept the Terms and Conditions and click “Continue”
5. You’ll then receive an OTP (One-Time Pin) via SMS
6. Use this OTP to continue the registration process
7. Once registered, you are now able to vote for your winning group
Note the following: You may cast up to 100 votes per voting platform. Network data costs will apply. Website votes are free.
Season 2 starts from 11 April 2021
Old Mutual Amazing Voices Season 2 digital audition submissions are closed and successful groups were notified. Groups were invited to closed auditions in these 5 African countries: South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria (new) and Zimbabwe. Two groups per country were chosen to represent their country (in SA) and will be competing for the US$100 000.
Make sure you tune in to DSTV on the following channels from 11 April 2021:
South Africa: MZANSI MAGIC & MZANZI WETHU simulcast at 17:00
Ghana: AFRICA MAGIC at 15:00
Kenya: MAISHA MAGIC EAST at 18:00
Nigeria: AFRICA MAGIC at 16:00
Uganda: PEARL MAGIC at 18:00
Zimbabwe: ZAMBEZI MAGIC at 17:00

The first season of the Old Mutual Amazing Voices music competition kicked-off with mass auditions, 4 countries and covering 9 cities. After having in-country singing battles between the groups, we announced three winning groups across the genres of Gospel, Pop and R&B. The three groups were flown into South Africa to represent their country on the big stage and fight for the US$100 000.
After 13 Episodes broadcasted simultaneously on five DSTV channels, Kenya’s Wanavokali walked away with the grand prize of US$100 000.
