O'MARI FOR MAHALA TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please familiarize yourself with our Terms and Conditions for the O’mari Mahala Promotion. The terms and conditions contain important information concerning your rights and responsibilities when entering this promotion. By entering the promotion, you agree to the terms and conditions set out on this page.
1. GENERAL CLAUSES
1.1 The O’mari for Mahala Promotion will run from 1st February to 30 April 2024.
1.2 This Promotion is open to all new and existing O’mari customers over the age of 18 years and transacting on the O’mari USD wallet within the stipulated promotional period.
1.3 Old Mutual Digital Services reserves the right to amend, modify or change these terms and conditions at any time during the O’mari Mahala Promotion.
2. QUALIFYING CRITERIA
The qualifying criteria for the promotion shall be as follows:
2.1 To participate, you should perform any one of following transactions on the O’mari USD wallet –
2.1.1 Send any amount in USD to any registered O’mari wallet.
2.1.2 Send Money of any amount, in USD to any Econet, Telecel and Netone mobile number that is not yet registered on O’mari. The recipient will however be required to self-register on O’mari to access the funds.
2.1.3 Cash Out of any amount at any of the O’mari registered domestic remittance partners.
2.2 Each transaction performed in the criteria listed above will earn you one entry into a random draw for a chance to win prizes. You can make as many transactions as you want to increase your chances of winning, but each transaction must be unique and valid. O’mari may reject or disqualify any transaction that is fraudulent, incomplete, duplicated, or otherwise violates these terms and conditions or the O’mari mobile wallet terms and conditions
2.3 Customers shall perform the above-mentioned transaction sets for FREE. This means that no charges will be levied for cashing out or sending money.
2.4 Weekly and monthly draws on such days to be set by Old Mutual Digital Services shall be run during the promotional period where winners will be randomly selected from the list of transacting participants.
3. PRIZES, ANNOUNCEMENTS & COLLECTION
3.1 As a participant, you will stand a chance to win an array of amazing prizes ranging from airtime, cash vouchers, grocery hampers, gas stoves and solar sets. Old Mutual Digital Services reserves the right to include more prices which have not been specifically mentioned in these terms and conditions at any time and announce these at the weekly and monthly draws stated in these terms and conditions.
3.2 Weekly Prizes:
Weekly winners will be announced after three (3) business working days following the close of the weekly random draws. The draws will be held every Friday (for 3 consecutive Fridays in a month) and winners will be announced via the official O’mari communication channels which include but are not limited to the O’mari social media pages, Old Mutual Zimbabwe Limited social media pages, official 3rd party mediums of communication on radio, press and official forums.
3.3 Monthly Prizes:
Monthly winners will be announced after three (3) business working days following the close of the monthly random draws to be held every 4th Friday of the month and will be announced via the official O’mari communications channels which include but are not limited to the O’mari social media pages, Old Mutual social media pages, official 3rd party mediums of communication on radio, press and official forums.
3.4 To redeem your prize (other than airtime and cash), winning participants must present positive proof of identification.
3.5 Airtime Prizes shall be credited to the winners’ O’mari registered mobile number using the Mobile Network Operator of that number.
3.6 All Cash prizes will be paid into the O’mari USD wallet.
4 EXCLUDED PARTICIPANTS
4.1 Old Mutual Digital Services and Old Mutual Employees and their immediate family members (current spouse, children, parents, and siblings) are excluded from participation in the Promotion.
4.2 Brand Ambassadors, Sales Advisors, Advertising Agencies, and any 3rd Parties directly involved in the development of this promotion, including their immediate family members (current spouse, children, parents, and siblings), are excluded from participation in the Promotion.
5 LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
5.1 By entering, all participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions which will be interpreted by Old Mutual Digital Services and Old Mutual’s appointed adjudicators whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding.
5.2 Old Mutual Digital Services and Old Mutual reserve the right to amend, modify or change these Terms and Conditions at any time during the O’mari for Mahala Promotional period.
5.3 Old Mutual Digital Services and Old Mutual reserve the right to use any photography or video footage acquired during the Promotion for print or electronic media at no fee.
5.4 By participating in this promotion, you agree that the O’mari for Mahala Promotion and its prizes are provided “as is” and without any guarantees or warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Old Mutual Digital Services and Old Mutual do not guarantee or warrant the quality, safety, suitability, availability, or performance of the promotion or its prizes. You participate in the promotion and accept the prizes at your own risk and responsibility.
5.5 By entering into this promotion, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Old Mutual Digital Services and Old Mutual and their affiliates, agents, and employees from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from or related to your participation in the promotion or your acceptance, use, or misuse of the prizes. This means that you will pay for any losses or costs that Old Mutual Digital Services and Old Mutual may incur as a result of the promotion or your actions or omissions.
5.6 Old Mutual Digital Services and Old Mutual are not liable for any delay, cancellation, or modification of the promotion or its prizes due to events beyond their reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, or government actions. Old Mutual Digital Services and Old Mutual may suspend or terminate the promotion without any compensation or liability to you if such events occur. You agree that you will not hold Old Mutual Digital Services and Old Mutual responsible or liable for any losses or damages that you may suffer as a result of such events.
6 DISQUALIFACTION
6.1 Old Mutual Digital Services and Old Mutual reserve the right to disqualify any participant who would be found to be:
6.1.1 Tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or operation of the O’mari USD Wallet Promotion.
6.1.2 Violating these Terms and Conditions.
6.1.3 Acting in an unethical or disruptive manner, or with intent to, abuse, threaten or harass any other person(s).
6.1.4 Not a holder of a positive national identification at the time of collection of the prizes.
6.2 Old Mutual Digital Services and Old Mutual shall not award a prize in any situation where it would be unlawful to do so.
7. General
7.1 By entering the Promotion, you consent to O’mari collecting, using, and disclosing your personal information for the purposes of administering the Promotion, contacting and verifying the winners, delivering the prizes, and promoting the Promotion. O’mari will handle your personal information in accordance with its privacy policy.
7.2 The Promotion is subject to the laws of Zimbabwe and the jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe. O’mari’s decisions on all matters relating to the Promotion are final and binding. O’mari reserves the right to amend, modify, or change these terms and conditions at any time during the Promotion Period. By continuing to participate in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by the updated terms and conditions. O’mari may disqualify any participant who breaches these terms and conditions or acts in an unethical or disruptive manner. O’mari may cancel or suspend the Promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
